Lance first joined Skills Active back in March 2011, but left in 2021 to take a position as senior advisor, digital communications – brand, for a government department. He then worked as marketing and communications manager for a Māori health organisation.

But like many people that leave Skills Active, he eventually made his way back to the organisation, and the opportunity to build a new brand was a big drawcard.

Outside of work Lance loves to play tennis and football. He enjoys catching up with friends, chatting with his two boys who now live in Australia, travelling, and photography.
